Staff and public protection are the number one priority, by using netting where appropriate the risk of injury from debris can be minimised. All of our netting is manufactured to British standards EN1263-1 and installed to European standards EN1263-2.
Work at Height Regulations 2005 require debris netting to be used where public access is possible to potentially dangerous area. If your worksite requires public access to a potentially dangerous area, debris netting must be used to catch falling debris such as materials, tools, and even dust from falling into the area below.
Due to the open mesh design, air can still circulate as well as light into the worksite, but provides an effective shield from harsh wind and weather.
The netting we use is made from polyethylene (HDPE), which is light weight, UV resistant, and fire resistant. It is durable, however due to working conditions will degrade over time. After each use our netting is inspected and replaced where necessary. For extended periods of use, inspections of the netting will be performed alongside scaffolding inspections.
As a Scaffolding Chichester, we offer a wide range of netting solutions and products which are available for hire.
